Central Railway has announced 1,198 Summer Special trains, including 284 unreserved services, in addition to its regular trains to accommodate the extra rush of passengers during the summer season.
From Pune too, additional Summer Special trains have been scheduled for Nagpur and Hazrat Nizamuddin in Delhi.
Pune – Nagpur – Pune AC Weekly Specials (14 Services)
Train No. 01439 (Special) will depart from Pune at 7:55 PM every Saturday, from April 12 to May 24, and arrive in Nagpur at 2:45 PM the next day. (7 services)
Train No. 01440 (Special) will depart from Nagpur at 4:15 PM every Sunday, from April 13 to May 25, and arrive in Pune at 7:20 AM the next day. (7 services)
Halts: Daund Chord Line, Ahmednagar, Kopargaon, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Malkapur, Shegaon, Akola, Badnera, and Wardha.
Composition: Eight AC 2-Tier coaches, 10 AC 3-Tier coaches, and two Generator Vans.
Pune – Hazrat Nizamuddin – Pune AC Weekly Specials (14 Services)
Train No. 01441 (Special) will depart from Pune at 5:30 PM every Tuesday, from April 15 to May 27, and arrive at Hazrat Nizamuddin at 6:10 PM the next day. (7 services)
Train No. 01442 (Special) will depart from Hazrat Nizamuddin at 10:20 PM every Wednesday, from April 16 to May 28, and arrive in Pune at 11:55 PM the next day. (7 services)
Halts: Lonavala, Kalyan, Bhiwandi Road, Kaman Road, Vasai Road, Palghar, Vapi, Valsad, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Nagda Jn, Dakaniya Talav, Bhawani Mandi, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City, Mathura Junction, and Palwal.
