A free digital hearing checkup and aid distribution camp was organized at Nisarga Office, Gultekdi in Pune in collaboration with Yashwantrao Chavan Center, Thackersey Group, Secor Aids Private Limited, and the District Disability Rehabilitation Centres (DDRC), Pune on Thursday.
Held from 8 am to 3 pm, the camp offered free hearing checkups for the deaf and senior citizens. A total of 100 digital hearing aids were distributed to beneficiaries during the event.
The initiative went beyond just providing hearing aids, as expert doctors and technical staff conducted thorough audiometry tests, fitted the appropriate devices, offered counseling, and performed final checkups. The camp received a strong positive response from the community.
