The Pavanathadi Jatra 2025 is all set to be held from February 21 to 24 at the PWD Ground in Pimpri-Chinchwad's Sangvi, the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) announced through its official X (formerly Twitter) handle.

The PCMC appealed to citizens to come and experience the 'jatra', which is organised under the civic body's Women and Child Welfare Scheme, with an aim to provide a market platform for women's self-help groups and individual entrepreneurs.

This 'jatra', like every year, will be a celebration of Maharashtrian culture, traditions and craftsmanship. Food enthusiasts, especially, are sure to have a field day as they will get to indulge in a wide array of dishes, including Khandeshi Purnache Mande, Shengole, Pithla Bhakari, Mutton Bhakari and more.

Last year, the 'jatra' had 822 stalls, which included 342 food stalls - 220 were vegetarian, while the remaining were non-vegetarian. Stalls were also set up by the disabled and transgender self-help groups. Reportedly, over one lakh people attended the 'jatra' daily last year. This year's event is expected to witness even more visitors.
