Several talukas in Nashik district — including Baglan, Niphad, Nandgaon, Nashik, Dindori, Igatpuri, Trimbakeshwar, and others — received varying amounts of rainfall on Saturday (May 10). Unseasonal rains, accompanied by storms over the past five days, have caused extensive damage across the district. Key agricultural produce such as summer onions, mangoes, pomegranates, vegetables, as well as stored fodder, have suffered significant losses.

However, local residents claim that the rain was moderate, not as heavy as reported.
In Nashik city, heavy rains occurred in the Nashik and Pathardi revenue circles. Heavy rains were also seen in Igatpuri, Ghoti, and Niphad talukas. In Sinnar taluka, heavy rains were recorded in Nandur, Shingote, and Gonde areas.
Light rains occurred in Igatpuri, Trimbakeshwar Peth, and Surgana talukas. The Rabi summer onions, worth lakhs of rupees, were damaged due to these rains. Farmers reported that an ox died due to an electric shock while coming to the village from the field in Golvad area of Baglan taluka.
