A young woman in Nashik caused a scene near Mumbai naka after she was allegedly found drunk during a police check. The incident took place when police stopped a couple suspected of drunk driving. The woman argued loudly with the officers, blocking traffic and upsetting other drivers.

A video of the incident quickly went viral on social media. Many people online criticised the woman’s behavior, while others questioned how the police handled the situation.

The incident also drew criticism toward the public, both for inappropriately filming the woman during her vulnerable state and for crowding around the scene instead of helping or dispersing.

This is not first such case from Nashik, earlier in February, an intense confrontation unfolded on at midnight on Gangapur Road, Nashik, where a visibly intoxicated woman and a man were involved in a heated dispute in the middle of the road.
