Nashik: Ahead Of Bakrid, 237 Anti-Social Elements Kicked Out To Keep City Safe

In the wake of Bakrid, the city police commissionerate has taken major action to maintain law and order in the city. Under this, orders have been issued to deport 237 anti-social elements. The police have clarified that such action will continue in the future as well.

The deported individuals include 237 people from Adgaon, Mhasrul, Panchavati, Bhadrakali, Sarkarwada, Gangapur, Mumbai Naka, Satpur, Ambad, Indiranagar, Upnagar, Nashik Road, Deolali Camp, Chunchale Industrial Estate. Considering the seriousness of the crimes registered in the city regarding the transportation and sale of beef, the concerned individuals have been deported from the district for 15 days so that law and order does not deteriorate in the city during the upcoming festivals and peace remains intact.

This action is being taken under the guidance of Police Commissioner Sandeep Karnik. The police have also warned that strict action will be taken against active criminals under Maharashtra Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Slumlords, Bootleggers, Drug Offenders, Dangerous Persons, Video Pirates, Sand Smugglers and Persons Engaged in Black Marketing of Essential Commodities Act (MPDA) and Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA).
