Good News! No Water Woes In Pune As Khadakwasla Cluster Dam Levels Cross 50% Mark |

The Khadakwasla dam, one of Pune's key water sources, has reached a promising 63.60% storage as of July 1, bringing slight relief amid ongoing water concerns.

This comes as the collective water stock in the four major dams supplying water to Pune—Khadakwasla, Panshet, Temghar, and Warasgaon—crossed the 50 percent mark and stands at 51.12%, higher than the 14.24% recorded on the same date last year.

Water levels are expected to increase now with more rains.

Panshet reservoir is at 47.79%, while Temghar stands at 37.95%. Additionally, the Warasgaon dam stands at 55.78% capacity.

While Pavana's water level lies at 60.75% and Kasarsai at 87.11%, Mulshi stands at 57.70%.

Now, as the dam storage is over 50 percent, the city will not face any more water cuts.
