“With significant investments in recent years, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar is now progressing towards a second industrial revolution. The local entrepreneurs exhibit a strong desire to learn and grow,” opined Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture (CMIA) awards jury Dr. Narendra Jadhav. The grand CMIA Awards 2025 ceremony, supported by Nath School of Business and Technology (NSBT), is scheduled for April 18, 2025.

The final round of presentations for the CMIA Awards 2025, organized by the Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture (CMIA), was successfully completed. Sponsored by CMIA and Manjeet Pride Group, these awards aim to encourage small, medium, and large enterprises in Marathwada's manufacturing sector.

To ensure a robust evaluation, eminent jury members from across the country were appointed. A special press conference was held on Wednesday at the CMIA office, where jury members Dr Narendra Jadhav, TR Dungaji, and Dr Rukmini Banerjee shared their experiences from the assessment process. Padma Shri Lila Poonawalla and Narendra Mairpady were also part of the jury panel.

TR Dungaji emphasized the historical significance of the city and remarked, "Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar must focus on inclusive and sustainable industrial growth."

Dr Rukmini Banerjee highlighted the rising number of entrepreneurs with international education. She said, "The city has a bright future, and for the next 25 years, education and skill development must remain a priority."

CMIA President Arpit Save underscored the transparency of the awards process, ensuring MSMEs get a platform to effectively present their innovations. Out of 100+ applications, 25 companies reached the final stage and presented their projects to the jury.

Manjeet Pride Group Business Head Nitin Lokhande, NSBT Director Harshvardhan Jaju, and others were present during the press meet.
