Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (MSEDCL) Chief Engineer Pawankumar Kachot felicitated employees who achieved success in various national and state-level arts and sports competitions at a function held in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on Thursday.
Assistant Engineer Ravi Mirgane won a gold medal in the 47th Powerlifting Competition organised by the All-India Inter-Electricity Sports Control Board in Rajasthan. Bhanudas Shewale won first prize for playwriting in the drama competition of the Workers’ Welfare Board. Director Ramesh Shinde’s play won a consolation prize, while Shravan Kolnurkar received the second consolation prize for acting. The team also included Sapna Bhosale, Swapnali Pardeshi, Shivaji Narwade, Abhay Erande, Sadanand Jadhav, Nitin Suryavanshi, Anil Rajput, Jeevan Pawar and Satish Dhawale.
Under the leadership of Navnath Pawar, the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Circle secured third place in the Workers’ Welfare Board’s bhajan competition. The team members included Dr Sudhakar Jaybhaye, Bhanudas Shewale, Ramesh Shinde, Sadanand Jadhav, Abhay Erande, Vaibhav Sakhare, Arun Dubale, Rajeshwar Suryavanshi, Digambar Renge, Laxman Wagh, and Jeevan Pawar.
All the winners were felicitated by Kachot with mementoes, certificates and bouquets. He said the employees have brought laurels to MSEDCL through their achievements. The company encourages employee talent and believes they will continue to succeed in future competitions.
