Just after Union Minister Murlidhar Mohol informed that passengers going from Pune to Jabalpur will get a big relief as a new train from Pune to Rewa will run via Jabalpur, the announcement of this new train will be made by the Railways soon.
Punekars on social media asked as to who demanded a train to Jabalpur and sought trains to other cities in Maharashtra like Solapur, Nashik, Kolhapur, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Nagpur, Nashik, Jalgaon, Nanded, Latur, and Solapur.
The comments on the post were mostly about people seeking trains to other districts of Maharashtra rather than other states.
"When will our demand be successful? There is only one train from Pune to Konkan and Pandharpur–Sangola area. There are also fewer trains to Marathwada and Vidarbha. There are only 5 trains from Pune to Jabalpur. There are fewer trains in our own state. You are sending trains from Pune to outside."
Some even highlighted the train to Rajasthan recently launched today.
