An incident of brutal murder came to light from Parvati police jurisdiction in Pune where an unknown person forcefully entered a house and slit the throat of a street food vendor living on rent. And when police tried to arrest him, he attacked cops with bricks and tried to run away, but he was finally nabbed by cops.
The incident took place on Monday around 9:00 a.m. near Chawl Number 1, Parvati Darshan.
The accused has been identified as Dinesh Prabhakar Kshirsagar (35), native of Yavatmal.
According to the police, the deceased Danish Siddiqui (25) and his brother are residents of Uttar Pradesh and stayed at the said place for the last 7 months on rent. Siddiqui was running a Daboli stall (street food stall) at Mukund Nagar.
On Monday, the accused, Dinesh, randomly entered the victim's house. An argument occurred between them over it. The argument turned violent, where Dinesh slit Danish's throat with a knife he was carrying with him.
Acting on the incident, local people informed the police.

Nand Kumar Gaikwad, Senior Police Inspector of Parvati Police Station, speaking to FPJ, said, "Acting on the information, we have arrested the accused from Satara Road, who was trying to run away. The exact cause of the murder is a part of the investigation. The accused randomly entered the victim's house and attacked him with a knife, leading to serious injuries to Danish Siddiqui."
Initially, he was admitted to Har Jivan Hospital, where he was transferred to Sassoon Hospital due to his critical condition. However, he was declared dead by the Sassoon doctor before treatment.
Sambhaji Kadam, Deputy Commissioner of Police, speaking to FPJ, said, "The victim faced serious injuries to his throat, leading to severe blood loss, and succumbed to his injuries. The exact cause of the murder is part of the investigation. Soon, everything will be on the table."
Regarding the matter, a case has been registered at Parvati Police Station under sections 103(1), 331(3) of the BNS Act.
