MAEER’s MIMER Medical College, Dr Bhausaheb Sardesai Talegaon Rural Hospital, Talegaon (D), Pune, and Sri Saraswati Hospital, Kothrud, Pune, jointly organised the 8th International Rhinoplasty Workshop from February 14 to 16 in Pune.
Rhinoplasty, a medical field focused on the surgical repair of the nose for cosmetic and/or therapeutic purposes, was the central theme of the workshop.
Renowned rhinoplasty and ENT specialists from across the globe participated in the event, which also featured live demonstrations of rhinoplasty procedures. The workshop was graced by internationally acclaimed doctors, including Dr Wolfgang Gubisch and Dr Sebastian Haack from Germany, Dr Abdul Quadir Goksel from Türkiye, Dr Konstantin B. Lipski from Russia, Dr Abdul Aziz Al Zaari from Oman, Dr Virendra Ghaisas from India, and more than 100 other ENT specialists.
The workshop also saw the inauguration of the state-of-the-art Ghaisas Advanced ENT and Facial Aesthetics Clinic on Apte Road, Pune, on February 14. The clinic was inaugurated by renowned educationist and Founder of MAEER’s MIT Group of Institutions, Prof Dr Vishwanath D Karad, along with Dr Wolfgang Gubisch and Medha Ghaisas, wife of the late Dr Suresh G Ghaisas.
