Lucknow, December 16: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while criticizing the opposition, pointed out irregularities in Sambhal, stating, "We assumed that the power corporation was operating mini substations, but in Sambhal, mini electricity substations are being run from religious places."

He revealed, "Several mosques were found to have illegal substations, and free connections were being distributed. While the line loss of the power corporation in the state is less than 30 percent, the line loss in Sambhal’s Deepasrai and Mirasrai localities stands at an alarming 78 and 82 percent. This is nothing less than looting the country's resources.”

The Chief Minister added, "If the administration fulfills its duty, it is accused of being a thief. And when it catches theft, it is labeled as committing atrocities."

The Chief Minister remarked that when the truth is revealed, it often makes people uncomfortable. “Those who cannot match up resort to criticism. You (the opposition) are engaging in the same baseless criticism. Your words lack truth and are clearly biased, which ultimately weakens the democratic system,” he said.

The CM emphasized that there are no issues during festivals of Muslims or other religions, but if anyone disrupts Hindu festivals, the government will respond firmly and strictly.

The Chief Minister emphasized that it is the administration's duty to comply with the orders of the honourable court, and the administration is fulfilling this responsibility in Sambhal. Taking a jibe at the SP members, he remarked, *“You may feel you’ve done a great favor by not interfering with the temple, but who was responsible for filling the 22 wells? How are the idols being discovered? And why is there a problem with the notice?"

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that there is an ongoing dispute between Turks and Pathans in Sambhal. Referring to the late Shafiqur Rahman Barq, a former SP MP, he remarked, “Barq did not identify himself as a citizen of India but claimed to be a descendant of Babur.”

The CM further emphasized, "It is up to you to decide whether you view the invaders as your role models or honor the traditions of Ram, Krishna, and Buddha. In India, only the traditions of Ram, Krishna, and Buddha will endure—those of Babur and Aurangzeb will not."
