WR to run 3 special trains during upcoming festival season

Mumbai: In order to facilitate passengers and meet the rush expected during the upcoming festive season, the Western Railway (WR) will run three special trains between Mumbai Central–Mangalore Jn. and Ahmedabad–Mangalore Jn. with special charges and between Indore-Kochuveli, an official release said.

All the trains would halt at Vasai Road to benefit the passengers of Mumbai and neighbouring districts, it said.

Train No. 09009/09010 Mumbai Central–Mangalore Weekly Superfast Special train (via Vasai Road) will start from Mumbai Central at 9.15 PM on December 23 and December 30, and will arrive in Mangalore at 7.15 PM the same day.

Train No. 09010 Mangalore-Mumbai Central Weekly Superfast Special train will leave Mangalore at 10.30 PM on December 24 and December 3, and will reach Mumbai Central at 7.25 PM the next day.

Train No. 09415 Ahmedabad-Mangalore Weekly Superfast Special train will leave Ahmedabad at 4.50 PM on December 24 and December 31, and will arrive in Mangalore at 6.15 PM the next day.

Train No. 09416 Mangalore-Ahmedabad Weekly Superfast Special train will leave Mangalore at 9.30 PM on December 25 and January 1, and will arrive in Ahmedabad at 12.20 AM on the third day.

Train No. 09310 Indore–Kochuveli (Weekly) Superfast Suvidha Special train will leave Indore at 9.05 PM on December 22 and December 29, and will reach Kochuveli at 7.10 PM on the third day.

Train No. 09309 Kochuveli-Indore (Weekly) Superfast Suvidha special train will leave Kochuveli at 11 AM on December 25 and January 1, and will reach Indore at 5.15 AM on the third day.

All the special trains will have AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier and Sleeper Class coaches. The booking for these trains would start from December 19, the release added.
