Mumbai: Western Railway has scheduled a special traffic block for non-interlocking work in connection with the construction of the 6th line between Khar Road and Goregaon. This significant infrastructure operation will occur between midnight on October 26 and October 27.
The traffic block will be in effect from 12:30 am to 10:30 am on October 27 on the Harbour line between Andheri and Goregaon. Suburban services on the Harbour line between Andheri and Goregaon will be temporarily unavailable during this period.
To accommodate commuters, the last local train for Goregaon on the down Harbour Line will depart from CSMT at 10:54 pm on October 26. The last local train from Goregaon on the up Harbour Line will depart from Goregaon at midnight (12:07 am) on October 27, heading for CSMT, and arriving at 1:02 am.
Following the block, the first local train for Goregaon on the down Harbour Line will depart from CSMT at 10:22 am on October 27, reaching Goregaon at 11:16 am. On the up Harbour Line, the first local train will depart from Goregaon at 11:23 am on the same day, arriving at CSMT at 12:21 pm.
