Mumbai: Western Railway has announced an additional stoppage for the Mumbai Central – Gandhinagar Capital Vande Bharat Express (Train No. 20901/20902) at Valsad station on an experimental basis for the convenience of passengers.
Train No. 20901 to halt at Valsad from July 28; minor timing changes at key stations
According to Vineet Abhishek, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the revised schedule will come into effect from July 27 and 28, 2025. Train No. 20901 Mumbai Central – Gandhinagar Capital Vande Bharat Express will halt at Valsad station starting from July 28, 2025, arriving at 08:19 am and departing at 08:21 am. Due to this change, the timings of this train at Surat, Vadodara, Anand, and Ahmedabad stations have been revised.
Train No. 20902 revised from July 27 with earlier departure and new halt at Valsad
Similarly, Train No. 20902 Gandhinagar Capital – Mumbai Central Vande Bharat Express will halt at Valsad station from July 27, 2025, with arrival scheduled at 5:51 pm and departure at 5:53 pm.
In line with this adjustment, the train will now depart from Gandhinagar Capital at 2:00 pm instead of the previous 2:05 pm, and the timings at Ahmedabad, Anand, Vadodara, and Surat stations have also been revised.

WR urges passengers to check updated schedule before travel
"This additional halt has been introduced on an experimental basis, and passengers are advised to check the updated timings before planning their journey" said an official of WR.
