A tragic accident took place on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway on Saturday evening when a goods-laden truck rammed into a roadside food canteen, killing a 19-year-old man and damaging several vehicles.
The incident occurred around 5 PM near a food court in the Khopoli area of Raigad district, Maharashtra. According to police, the truck was traveling from Pune to Mumbai when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The truck veered off course, hitting multiple vehicles before fatally running over Indradev Paswan, an employee at the canteen.

As per reports, the driver of the truck sustained injuries and is currently receiving treatment at Khopoli Municipality Hospital. Authorities have launched an investigation into the accident, but no arrests have been made so far.
Paswan, a resident of Bihar, had been working at the canteen. His sudden demise has left his family and colleagues in shock.
Police are now examining the CCTV footage and other evidence to determine the exact cause of the accident.
