Activists of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) gheraoed an employee of D'Mart in Versova on Wednesday and forced him to apologise for refusing to speak in Marathi. The salesman defiantly refused to speak in Marathi and asked the MNS activist "not to throw an attitude."

Mumbai: Activists of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) gheraoed an employee of D'Mart in Versova on Wednesday and forced him to apologise for refusing to speak in Marathi.

Earlier a local activist of the MNS had gone to the department store for shopping. During an interaction with a salesman he asked the latter to speak in Marathi. The salesman defiantly refused to speak in Marathi and asked the MNS activist "not to throw an attitude."

The MNS activist went out and returned with a group of his party workers, who gheraoed the salesman and compelled him to offer an apology.
