Mumbai: Medical supplies and office equipment were damaged after a fire broke out at an industrial estate in Andheri (East) on Thursday. The Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) successfully extinguished the blaze within three hours. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident. The blaze erupted at Gala No. 44 in Apollo Industrial Estate, located near Holy Family School in Andheri (East), around 5:30 am on Thursday. The fire officials along with civic staff from the K-East ward, police personnel, and ambulance services, rushed to the spot promptly.

As the incident occurred early in the morning, no injuries were reported. According to fire officials, the blaze was confined to Gala No. 44 and affected both the ground floor and the first-floor loft of the Ground plus one industrial structure.

"The fire damaged electrical wiring and installations, office files and records, furniture, computers, printers, a Xerox machine, as well as stocks of diapers, wheelchairs, and surgical equipment.
