Mumbai: A major fire had erupted in Link Square Mall in Bandra's Linking road area in the early morning hours of April 29, a recent video that is going viral has recorded the fire smoke erupting from the mall from a flight showing blackened smoke from hundreds of feet above.

The chilling video was taken in the early hours from an Indigo flight that flew from near the location, showing a large black smoke cloud emerging due to the smoke from the major fire that erupted in the Link Square Mall in Bandra. After the passenger further zooms in on the source of smoke, red flames of the horrifying fire can be seen in the video. The video further shows the black smoke taking over the skies in Mumbai.

A massive fire erupted at a showroom in Mumbai's Bandra on Tuesday morning, quickly spreading throughout the entire Link Square Mall. The blaze started in the basement Croma showroom and has been classified as a 'Level-IV' fire by the Mumbai Fire Brigade.

Dozens of shops and restaurants have been impacted, leading to significant financial losses for owners. Fire tenders and senior officials are on-site, with assistance from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), who arrived at around 7:50 am. For safety reasons, nearby buildings were evacuated. The cause of the fire remains unknown, and no injuries have been reported yet. Further updates are awaited.
