A six-year-old boy sustained injuries after being attacked by a group of stray dogs in Dombivli on Tuesday. The incident was captured on CCTV, and the footage has since gone viral on social media.

In the video, the boy is seen walking towards a play area when a pack of five to six stray dogs suddenly approaches and attacks him. The child falls to the ground and is dragged several meters before a nearby resident rushes to his aid. The resident intervened, rescued the boy, and alerted his family, who then rushed him to a hospital for treatment.

Deepa Shukla, a civic official, confirmed the incident and identified the victim as Yash Chavan, a resident of Shivthirth Society in Motagaon, Dombivli.

“The boy’s condition is stable. We dispatched a dog squad to the area and managed to capture three dogs, which have been sent to a shelter,” she said.
