A rape case has been filed against a pilot working with a private airline in Mira Road, near Mumbai. The case follows a police complaint from a 23-year-old air hostess alleging that she was raped by her colleague, a pilot, at his home in Mira Road.
According to reports, the incident occurred earlier this week, days after the woman and the accused traveled on a flight to London.
After returning to Mumbai, they traveled together to Mira Road, as they both lived in the same locality.
The woman told police that she went to the pilot's home that day after being insisted upon by him. When both reached his house, the woman found no one else present. He then allegedly raped her, according to the woman's complaint.
Acting upon the air hostess's complaint, a case has been filed against the pilot at Navghar police station.
According to reports, the pilot is currently on the run and police are searching for him to apprehend him.
