Thane: The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena of the Thane unit has allegedly beaten a male teacher and the trustee of the college after receiving complaints from four female teachers about misbehaving that occurred in the college.
The incident came to light on Saturday at the college located in the Wagale Estate area of Thane when four females approached the MNS for help. MNS Thane city President Ravindra More, along with other workers and teachers, rushed to the college and inquired about the incident.
The police said that the four female teachers made an allegation against a teacher and trustee of the Thane-based college of misbehavior. They all approached the Srinagar police station to lodge an FIR against him.
Ravindra More, President of MNS, said, "Four female teachers approached us. They made an accusation against them who allegedly misbehaved with them. We, along with workers and teachers, visited the college and asked questions about this and beaten them." He further stated that there is a need to install CCTV footage in colleges and schools.
A case was registered under sections 75, 296, 351(2), 352, and 3(5) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita against them with Srinagar Police Station. Guljarilal Hajari, senior police inspector from Srinagar police station, said, "Another complaint on behalf of the teacher and trustees was being processed to register an FIR."
