A 14-year-old school girl was allegedly two months pregnant after being raped by her classmate's boy in Bhiwandi. The police sources said that the victim and the accused live in the same locality. Both are in the same class.
The police sources said that the girl experienced abdominal pain and was taken to the hospital, where it was learned that she was two months pregnant. Thereafter, the doctor informed the police about it. Later, an FIR was registered against him on July 10.
The police sources said that the incident occurred in May of this year when the family members of the boy were not at home, and when the boy invited her to his residence, he later forcefully committed rape.
According to the police, the victim filed an FIR against him under the relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. Further investigation is ongoing.
Mahesh Mahadawad, investigation officer from Narpoli Police Station, said, "The juvenile was detained and presented in Juvenile Justice Board and later sent to the observation home. Further investigation into the matter is ongoing."
