On Monday, a 47-year-old autorickshaw driver was arrested by the Thane police for allegedly molesting two minor boys on the pretext of giving them a free ride and some snacks.
According to Indian Express, the 47-year-old is a resident of Ambernath. On the day of the incident, the accused took two children to a vacant building in Anand Nagar in MIDC area on Sunday on the pretext of giving them snacks and a joy ride free. After taking those two children to the vacant building the accused then molested those two boys, who are just aged seven and nine.
The accused also threatened the boys of dire consequences if they told anyone about the incident. But, the terrified boys told their parents about the incident, who later reported the matter to the police. After lodging the complaint, the cops arrested the accused and are currently investigating if he had targeted any other children.
