On February 7, 2025, a 14-year-old student of Class 9 allegedly died by suicide by jumping from the fifth floor of the school building in the morning. Taking cognizance of the complaint, the NCPCR has instructed the district administration to conduct a fair and impartial inquiry. The commission has also directed that criminal charges be filed if necessary. NCPCR has ordered the submission of a report including details of the investigation so far, complaint records, witness statements, and other relevant documents.
