A 10-month-old boy who accidentally locked himself in the bedroom in Thane was reunited with his father after he was rescued by the regional disaster management cell.
The apartment was on the fourth floor of the building.
The Balkum fire station fire brigade personnel soon after receiving the information about the boy being stuck in the bedroom reached the spot with one fire vehicle and immediately broke the lash lock of the door rescuing 10-month-old Kavish Pal safely.
Avinash Sawant, RDMC chief, Thane informed, "According to the complaint received by the disaster management room on Monday, at around 8:35 am, a 10-month-old boy had locked himself in the bedroom, apartment no 403 on 4th Floor at Building No. G/3, Puranic Home, Near Vedanta Hospital in Kasarawadwali at Ghodbunder in Thane (West). The fire brigade from Balkum fire station reached the spot and broke the door of the room and rescued the boy (Kavish Pal) safely."
