Siddhivinayak temple trust to give Rs 50L to Malin village

Mumbai  The Shree Siddhivinayak Ganapati Mandir Nyas (Prabhadevi) Trust here announced a donation of Rs 50 lakh towards relief measures in the landslide-hit Malin village in Pune district. “At a meeting here Thursday, it was decided to contribute to the relief work in the village,” Trust executive officer Mangesh Shinde said.

The Central government too announced Rs. 2 Lakh ex-gratia for the kin of the landslide victims. But, the state government decided to take more time before announcing the nature of the relief package. Rescue and Relief Minister Dr. Patangrao Kadam will go to the village and review the situation. He will also collect information regarding the victims and the relief amount will be announced only after ascertaining the details of the kin of the victims, official sources have said.
