Mumbai: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Mr Sharad Pawar was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on Monday after feeling uneasy.

The state NCP general secretary Mr Shivajirao Garje in a press release said that Mr Pawar was admitted to the hospital on the advice of his physician.

Likely to be discharged on Nov 2

Mr Pawar is likely to be discharged on November 2. After that, he will participate in party camps that will be held in Shirdi on November 4-5. Mr Garje has appealed to party leaders and workers not to gather at the hospital.

Last year in April, the NCP chief underwent gallbladder surgery.

Maharashtra Congress chief Mr Nana Patole said that Pawar has accepted Congress' invitation to be part of the Bharat Jodo Yatra.
