Panvel Municipal Corporation Demolishes Illegal Structures In Bavan Bangla Area In Major Crackdown

In a decisive move against unauthorized developments, the Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC) carried out a demolition drive on Friday in the Bavan Bangla area, targeting illegal structures constructed in front of Sushil Garden.

Panvel: In a decisive move against unauthorized developments, the Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC) carried out a demolition drive on Friday in the Bavan Bangla area, targeting illegal structures constructed in front of Sushil Garden.

The action was taken under the instructions of Municipal Commissioner and Administrator Mangesh Chitale and led by Deputy Commissioner of Encroachment Ravikiran Ghodke, along with Kamothe Ward Assistant Commissioner Subodh Thanekar.

Heavy machinery, including JCBs, was deployed by the Encroachment Department to bring down the unauthorized structures. Officials from the Security Department, Fire Brigade, Maharashtra Security Force, and local police provided support during the operation.

PMC officials said the crackdown is part of an ongoing campaign to curb illegal construction activities and maintain urban discipline in Panvel.
