NMMC witnesses 209 fresh COVID cases on June 28

So far in June, more than 6200 new cases of Covid have been reported.

The number of active cases dropped under the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) after more people got discharged than new cases were reported on June 28. At present, the number of active cases stands at 1792 which was 1904 on June 27. On June 28, the civic body saw a total of 209 new cases of Covid.

So far in June, more than 6200 new cases of Covid have been reported. At the beginning of May, the number of active cases was around 50. On June 26, a total of 262 patients got discharged.

At present, 1792 people are in home isolation and 10 patients are getting treatment at Covid care centre at Cidco Exhibition centre in Vashi.

Last week, two Covid deaths were reported taking the total number of deaths 2051 due to Covid.
