Navi Mumbai News: Fire At Kharghar Fast-Food Shop Near Railway Station Doused Swiftly; No Casualties Reported (Video)

According to fire officials, the blaze originated in the shop’s shawarma machine, reportedly due to an LPG gas leak.

A fire  at a Chinese fast-food shop located opposite Kharghar Railway Station, along the Sion-Panvel Highway in Sector 1 was  promptly doused  by the CIDCO Fire Brigade, Kharghar Fire Station.

According to fire officials, the blaze originated in the shop’s shawarma machine, reportedly due to an LPG gas leak. The fire personnel quickly responded to the alert received at 8:28 AM. They reached the spot within minutes and managed to open the shop shutter, extract the burning LPG cylinder, and extinguish the fire.

Firefighters also brought under control the flames that had spread to other items within the shop. A total of four LPG cylinders two filled and two empty were safely removed from the premises.

The fire was fully extinguished and the situation declared under control by 9:21 AM. The site was then handed over to the local police for further investigation.

The swift operation was led by Station Officer Saurabh Patil, with Fire Officer Prashant Darekar, driver R. L. Banda, and firefighters Sambhaji Patil, Ganesh Bhoir, N. J. Madhvi, and B. V. Bhosale.

No casualties were reported in the incident.
