Taloja police have registered a case of theft against an unidentified person after an LCD TV and a desktop monitor was stolen from a Zilla Parishad school in Taloja Panchnand. The theft was committed after cutting the grill of the school building.
According to police, the school functioned as usual on July 1 and all the staff left the school in the evening with all items intact. However, the next morning, when the school was reopened, school staff were shocked that LCD TV and monitor were missing. They also realised the front door grill was cut to access inside the school premises. The school is located at Pethali village in Taloja Panchnand.
The school administration lodged a complaint at the Taloja police station. The police have started the investigation.
