Navi Mumbai: Fathers’ day celebration held at St. Joseph's High School and Junior College

Navi Mumbai: Students of St. Joseph's High School & Jr. Kalamboli College, Kalamboli celebrated Father’s Day with enthusiasm on June 25 in its school auditorium. Father’s Day is a celebration of honouring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society.

The celebration began with the Lord’s prayer followed by a Bible reading and a musical programme. The attraction of the Father’s Day celebration was the ramp walk by the fathers and the children received huge applause.

In addition, all fathers and children had a lot of fun playing the game like a partner game, Tongue twister, blowing balloons and others.

A photo booth with props was also set up for fathers and children to click photos, as pictures are a way to freeze those special memories.

The dynamic event concluded with a closing chorus and fathers expressing their feelings on the occasion.

They appreciated the efforts of school authorities for this unique idea of involving Fathers in such celebrations and said that these types of events help them to know their children better and also help them to nurture their relationship with their children.
