An awareness march was conducted to inform people about the benefits of Yoga. In order to emphasize the importance of Yoga Vidya for the physical, mental and spiritual life of a person, the march was organized in the CBD.
On this occasion, Janardan Singh, Navi Mumbai District President of Bharatiya Yoga Sanstha informed people about the work of the organization.
He also emphasized the importance of yoga. During the march in the entire Belapur CBD area, a large number of senior citizens, women and youth participated, carrying placards and slogans about yoga. Former local corporator Ashok Gurkhe also joined the march by lighting lamps.
For the past many years, the Bharatiya Yoga Sanstha has been teaching yoga and spreading its health and other benefits. The organisation also conducts free yoga sessions from time to time.
