Mumbai's first every elevated nature trail, the Malabar Hill walk way was finally inaugurated on Sunday. The eco-friendly project which was under development for three years is inspired by Singapore's tree top walkway. The elevated nature trail was inaugurated by local MLA and minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha.

The walkway is developed amidst the lush greenary Kamala Nehru Park and Ferozshah Mehta Garden in Malabar Hill. The BMC has decided a fee of Rs 25 for Indian citizens and Rs 100 for foreigners for the period of one hour. The time slot is decided to avoid overcrowding on the walkway. The tickets can be booked online at https://naturetrail.mcgm.gov.in/

Visitors will receive a barcode upon booking, which will facilitate seamless entry and exit. An Access Control System has been implemented to regulate the number of visitors and ensure a smooth experience.

The nature elevated rail offers visitors a glimpse into Mumbai's rich biodiversity, featuring over 100 species of plants, diverse birds, and reptiles.
