An RPF officer is also seen in the clip, attempting to de-escalate the situation and urging her to cooperate. The woman, however, appears increasingly agitated.

“I was not running, can you not look at my condition?” she screams when accused of trying to escape. When asked to show her ticket or pay the fine, she yells, “Give me your QR code. I have to rush.” Throughout the video, railway staff are seen maintaining calm and trying to reason with her, despite the ruckus on the crowded bridge. The Free Press Journal could not independently verify the authenticity of the video or confirm whether any official action was taken against the woman.

Passenger Attacks TC After Being Caught Without First Class Ticket

This episode comes just days after another altercation during ticket checking turned violent. On August 2, a passenger damaged railway property after being caught in a First Class coach of a Virar fast local with only a Second Class ticket. The inspection was being carried out by Deputy Chief Ticket Inspector Shamsher Ibrahim between Andheri and Borivali.

Officials reported that three passengers were found travelling without valid First Class tickets, and one had no ticket at all. They were deboarded at Borivali and taken to the ticket checker’s office, where one of the accused became aggressive. In the scuffle, the passenger damaged a computer CPU and other equipment. Both railway staff and the accused suffered minor injuries and were provided medical aid.
