Mumbai: A shocking incident has emerged from Ghatkopar West, where a woman allegedly thrashed her three-year-old son with a plastic water pipe after her husband refused to take her out. Following a complaint by the child's father, the Ghatkopar police have registered a case against the accused mother, identified as Gudiya Bano Maisad Khan, who is currently on the run.

According to the Ghatkopar police, the incident occurred on January 26 at around 11 AM in Narayan Nagar. The accused, Gudiya Bano, asked her husband, Maisad Jaleel Khan, to take her out. Khan, citing financial constraints, promised to take her out in two to three days, which led to an argument.

Later in the afternoon, when Khan left for work, the enraged woman allegedly vented her anger on their three-year-old son, mercilessly beating him with a plastic water pipe around 4 PM. The child sustained severe injuries to his back, stomach, cheeks, and ears.

Upon learning of the incident, Khan rushed home and immediately took the injured child to Rajawadi Hospital, where doctors admitted him for treatment.
