Mumbai Tragedy: Missing Teen's Body Found In Dahisar Quarry; Police Suspect Drowning

A teenage boy’s body was found on Thursday after he went missing on Wednesday from Dahisar East. The police suspect that the boy drowned. According to the police, the boy and his friends had gone to a quarry in Ketkipada for an outing. His friends later told the police that they decided to leave the place when it started to rain.

Mumbai: A teenage boy’s body was found on Thursday after he went missing on Wednesday from Dahisar East. The police suspect that the boy drowned.

According to the police, the boy and his friends had gone to a quarry in Ketkipada for an outing. His friends later told the police that they decided to leave the place when it started to rain.

The quarries fill up with rainwater during the monsoon but remain empty during other seasons. One of his friends provided a statement to the police. The boy was between 16 and 17 years old. Police suspect he fell into one of the quarries and drowned. An accidental death report (ADR) has been registered.
