Mumbai reports 728 COVID-19 cases, 28 deaths on June 7

Mumbai reported 728 new COVID-19 cases on June 7, taking the total tally to 7,12,329. Now, there are 15,786 active cases in the city.

City recorded 28 deaths due to coronavirus on Monday which pushed its fatality count to 15,786 as per data released by the city's civic body. 980 COVID-19 patients recovered and were discharged on Monday taking the recovery count to 6,79,258.

On Monday, 28,076 tests were conducted. May 17 had reported the lowest count rate with just 17,640 tests.

Meanwhile, the doubling rate has increased to 550 days, while the weekly growth rate has dropped to 0.12 percent.

There are total 26 containment zones in the city and 96 buildings have been sealed as per today's data.
