Mumbai: Following the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, security has been heightened in major cities across the country, including Mumbai. The cowardly attack by terrorists targeting tourists has prompted the Mumbai Police to place the entire city on high alert, with intensified surveillance.

In response to the incident, senior officials of the Mumbai Police have instructed all senior inspectors and zonal Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) to exercise heightened vigilance in their respective areas. Sources within the police department revealed that the directive specifically emphasizes strengthening security at crowded places, key buildings, and other sensitive locations.
