The Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) on Tuesday announced that there will be no vaccination drive for citizens on July 7, Wednesday.

The KDMC authorities claimed that as they were facing shortage of vaccine, they will not be able to conduct the vaccination drive.

However, this has upset citizens as they claim that the move will just delay the entire process. Last week, too the vaccination drive was suspended for almost four days.

However, neighboring Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) had announced the vaccination drive will take place on July 7. Vaccines will be made available at 50 centres across the city. The TMC authorities claim every vaccination centre will have at least 100 to 400 jabs available for citizens.
