Mumbai: NIA Court Grants Interim Bail To Mahesh Raut For Law Exams, Permits ATKT And Viva Under Escort

Additionally, the court has permitted Raut to appear for an Allowed to Keep Terms (ATKT) exam on April 4 and for a viva-voce and assignment presentation on April 9, under police escort.

Mumbai: In the Elgar-Parishad case, the special National Investigation Agency (NIA) court, on Thursday, granted interim bail to Mahesh Raut to appear for his law exams from April 20 to May 16.

Raut will be released on a personal bond of Rs50,000 with a surety of the same amount. He has been asked to submit his residential address and also his mobile phone number, which needs to remain active. The judge said that the NIA may monitor and track his whereabouts on the given cell phone number.

Additionally, the court has permitted Raut to appear for an Allowed to Keep Terms (ATKT) exam on April 4 and for a viva-voce and assignment presentation on April 9, under police escort.
