Mumbai: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has announced that citizens can now rent space at its Municipal Capacity Building and Research Centre (MCMCR) in Powai for organising various events, including academic meetings, constitutional gatherings, board of directors’ meetings, conferences, and seminars.

Located in a scenic part of Powai, the MCMCR is a state-of-the-art facility offering a wide range of amenities tailored for professional gatherings. The training centre boasts a well-equipped conference room, a spacious auditorium, and dedicated seminar halls.

In addition, the facility includes modern classrooms, a computer training center, and separate areas for exhibitions. To enhance the overall experience, the center is fully air-conditioned and fitted with essential technical infrastructure such as projectors, advanced sound systems, and high-speed connectivity. The venue also offers a large parking area, making it convenient for attendees arriving by vehicle.

Those interested in booking the venue can register through the official website: https://mcmcr.mcgm.gov.in. The registration process is straightforward and designed to make the booking experience user-friendly for both individuals and organisations. Once registered, users can choose from available spaces and select their preferred dates for holding events.

BMC shared this announcement through an official post on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, detailing the new rental service and highlighting the facility's features and availability. The post emphasised that the center is not only intended for municipal use but is now open to citizens and private groups seeking a professional and well-maintained venue in Mumbai.

This move is expected to benefit educational institutions, corporate bodies, and NGOs looking for a convenient and modern space to host their programs in the heart of the city.
