Mumbai News: Biker Booked For Recklessly Running Over, Killing Kitten In Lokhandwala

The incident occurred around 6 PM near the Food Inn Hotel in Lokhandwala. According to eyewitnesses, the biker, identified as Armaan Khan (27), was riding recklessly when he ran over the kitten. Animal lover Parikshit Punjabi (39), a local resident, rushed to the spot after learning about the incident and confronted the rider.

Mumbai: A kitten died after being struck by a rashly driven motorcycle in the Lokhandwala area of Andheri West on Monday evening. Locals handed over the biker to the Oshiwara Police, who have since registered a case against him.

The incident occurred around 6 PM near the Food Inn Hotel in Lokhandwala. According to eyewitnesses, the biker, identified as Armaan Khan (27), was riding recklessly when he ran over the kitten. Animal lover Parikshit Punjabi (39), a local resident, rushed to the spot after learning about the incident and confronted the rider.

By the time help arrived, the kitten had succumbed to its injuries. Locals escorted the biker to the Oshiwara Police Station. Police have booked the rider under Section 11(1) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960, and Section 325 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
