Five girls, aged between 15 and 17 years old, ran away from St Catherine's Home, an orphanage located in Andheri West. A kidnapping case has been registered as all of them are minors, said the Amboli police. According to the FIR, the girls escaped through the washroom window between 10.30pm on Thursday and 2.30am on Friday.

The caretakers came to know about the act when the teens did not come out of the washroom for long. Upon checking, they found that the girls had fled after removing the glass panes from the window.
