IAS officer SVR Srinivas has been appointed as new MMRDA Commissioner, while IAS officer Milind Mhaiskar will new housing secretary in the state.
SVR Shrinivas is a 1991-batch IAS officer.
SVR Srinivas who was Principal Secretary, Housing Department, Government of Maharashtra was in the race along with Mahesh Pathak and Milind Mhaiskar for the post.
With this the the extension tenure given to R.A. Rajiv (Retired IAS) came to an end on Monday. Interestingly, the retired officer on his last day of service inaugurated the two flyovers named Rajnoli and Durgadi.
