Mumbai: A tragic hit-and-run incident has been reported from Mumbai’s Kanjurmarg area, where a speeding vehicle fatally struck a pedestrian. The victim succumbed to his injuries, and the Vikhroli Police have registered a case against an unidentified driver, who is currently absconding.

According to police sources, the incident took place near the Kanjurmarg bus stop. The victim was walking along the roadside when a speeding vehicle rammed into him, causing severe injuries. He was rushed to Rajawadi Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

The deceased has been identified as Noor Mohammad Sartullah, a resident of Siddharthnagar district in Uttar Pradesh. Police have launched a search operation to trace the absconding driver, and further investigation is underway.
