Mumbai: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation shared an X post dietary precautions to prevent heatstroke on March 11. Mumbai city faces a hike of the temperature day by day considering the heat alert BMC shared some points to prevent Mumbaikars from the heat. They shared some easy steps that can be implemented in a daily routine.

BMC said that in the post people should avoid cooking during the hot weather or else in the peak hours of the summer. From this, you can face health issues because of the extreme heat also mentioned what to avoid in drinks like tea and coffee that may harm your body in the summers.

They added in the post that keeping doors and windows open helps during the heatwave. This not only keeps you safe from the heat but also improves air circulation in the kitchen. Also, they said to avoid stale food that will make you unwell, and it is not healthy for your body during the summer.
