Mumbai: Four people - three women and a man - were found dead in residential building in Kandivali on Thursday morning.

According to police, four suicide notes were recovered from the scene of crime.

Police officials said that a call was received from the Dena Bank junction, after which teams were rushed to the spot.

"Two women were found in a pool of blood on the second floor of the building, while a woman and a man were found dead on the first floor. We have recovered four suicide notes from the scene of the crime and based on the content of these notes, an offence of murder is being registered," Mumbai Police spokesperson DCP Sanjay Latkar said.

The deceased have been identified as Kiran Dalvi, her daughter's Muskan and Bhumi and Shivdayal Sen, the police said
